The playlist from last night's acoustic open mike night:
1. Walking In Memphis (Marc Cohn)
2. Last Kiss (Pearl Jam)
3. I Will Survive (Gloris Gaynor)**
4. Summer of '69 (Bryan Adams)
5. Wanted: Dead or Alive (Bon Jovi)
* - Back In Time - Huey Lewis & The News - 1985
** - Done on a dare, never dare, never never dare me!
interesting mix - and not just Gloria! i once did a "karaoke dare off" - took turns signing each other up for known, but difficult songs. i won with "Words" (Bee Gees) and "Stairway to Heaven" back to back...
Love "last kiss" as an accoustic - got some bitchin' harmonies if we ever hook up!

"Wanted: Dead or Alive"
I think that song is on "Guitar Hero" or some other such nonsense. The low rent neighbours next door were playing the riffs from that late into the night. Over. And Over. And Over. And Over.
Closing the windows didn't even help. The bass frequencies just came right through the walls.
I still have nightmares about it.
Loved Pearl Jam's cover of "Last Kiss"; being a Canuck I, of course, love Bryan Adams (the early stuff is the best IMO).

Fuck! I hate the internet sometimes. Of course, only one of those comments need survive (or none if you like...)
